If you have had sex without a condom you may want to think about getting a routine STI screen for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, and HIV, even hough you have no symptoms.
If you are worried about a particular incident, and you have no symptoms, you should normally wait at least 10 days before getting tested, so that there is time for the infection to show up on the test.
This can be done:
- At your GP
- At one of our SWISH Services.
